The Mist is an excellent story, one of King's best regardless of length. I would suggest that readers might want to consider buying Skeleton Crew instead of this novella, however. For just one dollar more you can obtain an additional 21 stories and many of them are also enjoyable.   Misty Mountains Lyrics: Far over the Misty Mountains cold / To dungeons deep and caverns old / We must away, ere break of day / To find our long forgotten gold / .

The protagonist and narrator David Drayton Author: Stephen King. The Land of Mist is book 3 in the Professor Challenger series. This one started in third person, which I wasn't expecting and made it sound differently.

The story itself surprised me as I wasn't expecting Spirituality to be portrayed in this way, or for it to be accepted by the main characters.3/5. Into the Mist is a fantastic inclusion to the Land of Elyon series.

It brings veteran readers a much needed understanding of the plot and new readers an excellent introduction. The Maracot Deep and other stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, ApKessinger Publishing edition, Paperback in English.

THE MIST is my favorite short story by Stephen King. I first read it as part of SKELETON CREW (). I remember thinking, "It's the perfect length for a movie, without leaving out any details," since movies based on King stories are rarely as good as the books. (However, the movie has a much more brutal ending, in my opinion.)Reviews: of over 3, results for "the land of stories book 4" Skip to main search results Amazon Prime.

Story: The series is amazing maybe my all time favorite depending on how it continues to develop. With that said this book just missed the mark unlike the rest of the series it doesn't move the story forward and barely presents any valuable information it feels more like a fan service filler you'd do between books than a book itself.

The Keeper of the Mist is a book with amazing world building, magic, and political intrigue. I loved the amazingly original story-line. I was drawn in right away by Keri, she has had to guard her emotions and I found he The Keeper of the Mist by Rachel Neumeier/5().

More than any book so far in the series, this one feels like Kong's wish fulfillment / power fantasy. Very little happens during this book and, just like the last book, the title has nothing to do with the story. No, this book, after quickly rapping up the cliff hanger of the last book, turns into 'Point Allocation' the book/5().

The Maracot Deep is one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's less known works that definitely deserves major recognition for its craft and originality.
